Friday: Arrival + Turn On Vacation Mode
You just drove in. You’re a little tired. The last thing you want to do is run errands.
In my version of your trip, you walk into your rental and everything is already done:
The fridge is stocked
Drinks are cold
Snacks are set out
Everything is clean, organized, and ready
You drop your bags, throw on something comfy, and head straight to the beach for sunset.
Dinner idea: Keep it easy your first night—takeout or a casual local spot so you can fully relax. Some of my favorites:
Shaka Taco
Maine Lobstah Shack
Surf City Line
Saturday: Beach Day, Done Right
Wake up slow—no alarms, no rush.
Start your morning with:
Coffee at home (already stocked, of course ☕️)
A quick breakfast before heading out
If you’re craving something local, grab bagels or donuts from:
Sunrise Bagel Co.
Daybreak Donuts
Then it’s a full beach day:
Snacks packed
Drinks ready
Towels, sunscreen—everything you need
No mid-day grocery runs. No “we forgot this.” Just a good, easy beach day.
Afternoon reset:Head back, rinse off, and take your time getting ready for the night.
Happy Hour + Dinner:Start with a drink and live music at the Trailer Bar, then head over the bridge for dinner at:
Sears Landing
If you’re still feeling it after dinner, grab a drink at:
Gilligan's
Tortuga's Nest
Sunday: Slow Morning + One Last Moment
Sunday mornings at the beach are underrated.
Think:
Coffee + breakfast at the house or a cute local spot
A quiet walk on the beach
Packing up without feeling rushed
For coffee, I love:
Whitecap Coffee
Sundial Coffee & Tea
Want to Show Up to This?
This is exactly what I help with.
From fully stocked fridges to thoughtful setup before you even arrive, my goal is simple:
You walk in and your vacation already feels like vacation.
If you’re planning a trip to Surf City or Topsail area, I’d love to help make it this easy for you.
